Inka Antaurko

Inka Antaurko, a spiritual Leader from Peru, South America, has the vision to bring the human family together to honour the sacredness of life, nourishing hearts for an Awakening of Universal Consciousness. In 2016, Antaurko initiated the annual Inti Muju Tinkuy International Gathering of Ancestral Wisdom Keepers from the Four Directions of the World in Peru. Antaurko founded Wasy Kamaq, Inka Spiritual Knowledge Centre in the indigenous community, Pampas Lampas, for the Tawantinsuyo communities and the world.

Chickadee Richard 
Benais Quimiwin Ikwe (Thunderrain Woman)

 Chickadee is an Anishinabe Knowledge Keeper and Grandmother from Sandy Bay First Nation.  She is an outspoken activist for the environment and our water.  Chickadee was the one of the spokespersons for the Idle No More movement in Manitoba, is co-founder of Safe Places for First Nations People and co-founder of the Bear Clan Patrol.  Chickadee walks with truth and the strength to fight for the future of our grandchildren and generations to come.

Bhante Sarana
​Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery

Known as “Bhante Sarana”. Engaging and influential teacher of Buddhism. Bhante is ordained in Sri Lanka under the guidance of Ven. Kiribathgoda Ghanananda Thero in Theravada Buddhist tradition. Currently, he is teaching Buddhism and meditation in Buddha meditation Center in Winnipeg and in the University of Manitoba. Also, he conducted sermons and meditation programs in University of Toronto and High schools in Toronto. He has been teaching Buddhism and meditation to different countries.  Further, Bhante Sasanasaran is giving his capacity to translate Buddhism into multiple languages.

Amelia is a nature-based healer and forest-bathing practitioner from Winnipeg, Manitoba with a fascination for communing and connecting with plants and trees. 
​She began the path of studying nature as a healing modality after her career in pharmacy led her to begin seeking true solutions for healing and wellness.
Today, she is here to talk about why we should cultivate connections with trees, how we can help each other, and how working with them can beneficially impact our lives and that of the planet.

​Traditional Woman Drum Group

The Keewatin Otchitchak, Northern Crane, Traditional Women's Drum was gifted to the people through a dream given to Thunder Rain Woman in 2010.  Since that time,women from all walks of life and ages have been called to sit with her.
The core group of female singers, who walk with this grandmother, are all dedicated to the protection of the culture, the people, the land and the water.
Keewatin Otchitchak is called to bring the people together in the defense of the women, children and water and to awaken and heal the spirits of all those that heed her voice.

Phoebe Man

Hailing from Hong Kong, Phoebe has been playing taiko (Japanese drumming) since 1989.  A founding member of taiko group Fubuki Daiko, world-music ensembles SAND and Just Drummin’, she is considered to be a pioneer in expanding the arts vocabulary of Manitoba.  
​A passionate percussion enthusiast, singer/chanter, and taiko educator.  Phoebe is a sought after performer for ceremonies and events in the Chinese, Japanese, as well as MB's and BC's First Nations communities.
